Born in South Africa & raised in New Zealand, vocalist/guitarist and Songwriter Andréa Lisa is now heading into her 5th year of calling Los Angeles home. Prior to that, while traveling and performing with her former band the ‘Andréa Lisa Band’ – a quartet formed shortly after completing her music degree. Andréa caught the attention of Grammy Award-winning artist Kirk Whalum, who she has now spent the last four years touring regularly with.
In 2019, she released a beautiful ballad called ‘Meet Me Again’, a song about love and evolution, shortly after that her song ‘Get Your Wings Up’ was featured on Kirk Whalum’s record ‘Humanité’.
Andréa Lisa is solidifying her status as a multifaceted talent by recording and touring with artists such as Jonathan Butler, Keiko Matsui, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Ralph Johnson (Earth Wind & Fire), Grammy® award-winner, George Brown (Kool & the Gang), and acclaimed producer, Ray Crossley (Marvin Gaye, El Debarge), to name a few.
