BK Jackson – Silver Lining

 

BK Jackson has been put on this earth to do one thing, electrify and amaze audiences across the globe with his unique playing style, energetic stage presence and unparalleled passion for music that touches the soul. Most notably, BK spent four years touring with musical icon Prince, performing timeless hits for sold out arenas night after night as a member of his 11-piece horn section, known as New Power Generation (NPG) Hornz. Currently, BK can be found rocking the stage with Trombone Shorty as a member of the multi-talented musician’s touring band, Orleans Avenue.

Michael Lington – Silver Lining

Denmark born saxophonist Michael Lington is a constant deliverer to the smooth jazz scene. Starting with his self-titled album in 1997 he continued with Vivid (2002), Everything Must Change (2002), Stay With Me (2004), A Song For You (2006), Heat (2008), Pure (2012), Soul Appeal (2014), Second Nature (2016) and Silver Lining (2018).

Saxman Michael Lington’s new single “Silver Lining” is the title track from Michael’s album, Silver Lining. It’s the follow-up to Michael’s hit singles “City Life” and “Deja Vu”. Silver Lining is a metaphor for optimism and this positive radiation is the main motif of this theme.
