Billy Baroo’s Bar & Grill is a hidden gem that’s located within another hidden gem – Fosters golf course. This is by far one of the best “19th holes” in Seattle, mainly due to their excellent selection of beers that rotate frequently – currently Racer 5 IPA is on tap, which is my favorite. If you like good beer that’s not overpriced, this is a great place to go. They also have a very large smoker which they use for a lot of their meats, so the burgers here are much better than most restaurants since they smoke them.
Sundays are when the men’s golf league takes place, so you’ll encounter many happy fella’s at the bar starting at 11am who’ve just played 18 rounds of golf (Billy’s opens at 11am). But even if you’re not a golfer, you can enjoy the food, drinks, and big screen TV’s that Billy’s has to offer. If you are a golfer, order their burger at the turn and save yourself $5 on the best burger around!
This is also the place to go for smooth jazz fans. Michael Powers will play there on Saturday, October 20, 2012 – 8:00 pm.
