Oso Viejo is one of the best spots for playgrounds, sports, fitness, and family walks on the Oso Creek Trail through the Jeronimo Open Space. The park went under a complete overhaul in 2008 with new walkways, gardens, sports fields, parking lot and a very large playground area. The park is located in Mission Viejo.
Mission Viejo is a city in southern Orange County, California, U.S. in the Saddleback Valley. Mission Viejo is considered one of the largest master-planned communities ever built under a single project in the United States, and is rivaled only by Highlands Ranch, Colorado, in its size.
The houses and shopping centers in the city are almost uniformly designed in a Spanish mission style, with “adobe”-like stucco walls and barrel-tile roofs.
The Oso Viejo Park is home of the Annual KSBR Birthday Bash Jazz Festival.
