Historic Downtown Grapevine, Texas, is more than a destination, it’s a journey. A journey to bygone days when neighbors would call out to each other on the street, shake hands, say ”good morning” and really mean it.
You don’t have to be a Texan to appreciate downtown Grapevine. In fact, you’re likely to brush shoulders with East Coast bankers, Midwestern farmers or Hollywood elite as you explore the unique shops on Main Street or savor the grapes that gave our town its name.
People from all over the country tell us Main Street reminds them of the town where they grew up. For some, it’s the historic Palace Theater, featured in its pre-restoration days in the movie Tender Mercies, and now home of the renowned Grapevine Opry. For others, our family-style restaurants rekindle memories of good times.
Grab a slice of summer fun at Main Street Days, the official kick-off to summertime in Grapevine. The 3-day Main Street Days features bands of all genres, including on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2pm – 3:30pm Tom Braxton and at 4:45pm – 6pm – Russ Hewitt Band.
